Revitalizing and Growing Local Business
Strong Businesses Build Strong Communities
Redondo Beach is full of potential — and that includes our local businesses. As both a longtime business owner and a City Councilmember, I see the opportunities we have to revitalize commercial areas, support entrepreneurs, and bring more life (and tax revenue) into our community.
That starts with streamlining the permitting process. Let’s make it easier to start, grow, or adapt a business, especially as needs change. I’m also pushing for smart investments in high-traffic areas like Riviera Village, where we need to rethink parking, walkability, and public-private use of space.
But it’s not just about logistics. It’s about treating our business community as a partner in Redondo Beach’s success. That means improving communication, ending unnecessary delays, and ensuring that policies and decisions support a diverse, resilient, and vibrant economy.
The more we support local businesses, the more we grow our local revenue, without asking residents for more. This is how we fund the parks, infrastructure, and services we all care about.
