Improving Infrastructure and Public Spaces

Let’s Build a Redondo Beach That Works for Everyone

Infrastructure may not be flashy, but it’s what makes a city function — and right now, Redondo Beach has serious work to do.

Our roads, sewers, and public buildings are aging. Playgrounds need updates. Parkway trees are missing. And too often, long-term maintenance gets postponed for short-term fixes. I’m working to change that.

We need a plan that’s both smart and sustainable — one that addresses immediate needs while preparing us for the future. That includes identifying funding sources (like Measure W or public/private partnerships), prioritizing shovel-ready projects, and making sure our plans reflect real community needs.

Public spaces are just as important. Whether it’s planting trees, improving playgrounds, or enhancing walkability in Riviera Village, I believe in investing in the spaces where we live, gather, and play. These are the things that make Redondo not just functional, but special.

Good infrastructure and great public spaces improve quality of life, increase property values, and show that we’re a city that takes pride in itself. I’m committed to making sure we don’t just maintain — we improve.
