Memorial Day Ceremony
The Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial honors our past, present, and future veterans and memorializes the sacrifices they have made to protect our country and way of life.
Join the community for the 2025 Redondo Beach Memorial Day Ceremony … and Elks BBQ
The one-hour ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 26 in Veterans Park (309 Esplanade)
The event will include commentary, music, and honors to all those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice carrying out their duties.
Keynote speaker is Redondo resident Rear Admiral Sandy Adams, United States Navy, retired.
Other local elected officials, community leaders, veterans, and military dignitaries will participate.
A veteran from the local area will receive the American flag that has been flown over the Memorial.
Music provided by soldiers of the 40th Infantry Division Band, California National Guard, Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, CA
The Ceremony is supported by the Coastal Naval Sea Cadets, Redondo High USMC JROTC, the Scouts, and the United USA National Pageant Legacy Maker Academy.
Memorial Day Ceremony to be followed by a BBQ hosted by the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge in the Elks parking lot south of their building, adjacent to Veterans Park.
The BBQ is free to all veterans, members of the military, and first responders.
