May 10 Community Meeting

I was asked to record the meeting, and I made a basic recording with my phone. I’ll work on the technology for future meetings and hope to get much better audio quality next time. Turn your volume way up to hear better.

I talked about the status of activities in the city, my priorities as council member, and announced various local events. There was discussion about truck routes, construction, and a few other issues by residents. Status:

  • Coordination with Torrance on truck routes
  • Smoke shop moratorium
  • Smoke shop business licenses
  • Park under SCE towers at PCH and Herondo
  • Beach access ramp at Avenue A
  • Apply to be a Budget and Finance commissioner
  • Apply to be a Youth Commissioner
  • Strategic Plan and Budget
