AFTERNOON ENRICHMENT
Monday 1pm Art to Grow On
Art classes with Lauren Perelmuter begin on Monday, March 3. Classes
are offered on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 - 2pm.
ESCRIP
This program is the easiest way to raise money for Tuvia & Temple
Menorah. There is no cost to you. After your credit card is registered
with the program, then you use your card at various stores and the
vendor then sends us a donation. There are no Internet transactions.
See Laural or Michelle for more information and applications.
CONNECTIONS FOR CHILDREN
Inclusion Grant
Tuvia was awarded an Inclusion grant from Connections for Children.
Two on-site consultants, Suzanne Lowe & Michelle Kennedy, have
been observing and are making suggestions on how to improve our
classroom environments to accommodate all children. Our Kindergarten
has a new quiet area, and you may hear classical music. We’ll
keep you posted on our changes.
TEACHERS OUT & ABOUT
Arty Bailey represented Tuvia at the latest accreditation support
group meeting and at a UCLA workshop on indoor & outdoor environments.
Feri Mozaffari attended a workshop at Evergreen School studying
relationships between children, families & teachers. Maria Gudino
visited the Zimmer Children’s Museum, the Jewish Community
Library and the Westside JCC. Adriana Kaufman also visited the Zimmer
Children’s Museum and Janet Valencia traveled to New School
West to observe at a Reggio-based school in West LA.
THANK YOU
